“I just had dinner with Valentino. I was wearing his jacket and he was delighted to see it,” Joan Rivers told Bluefly’s Closet Confessions crew when they descended upon Melissa Rivers’ Pacific Palisades mansion; Joan has moved in with her daughter. “But never once from that Italian mouth came out, ‘You must buy me wholesale,’” she joked.
Joan had the crew “weeping” with laughter, says Bluefly’s Content and Communications Director Monica Halpert who was on hand for the hours’ long shoot which also involved the WE channel cameras shooting for Melissa and Joan’s upcoming reality series on the network. “Afterwards, she offered us a snack… her work ethic is incredible.”
