Christian's house felt like a temple - his own meticulously maintained sacred space for the art and design he collects... all of which reflect his own incredible taste. Pristine French linens dressed his bed, a combination of modern and renaissance scenes were precisely arranged on his walls just above his French Roccoco chairs. There was beautiful photography everywhere too, much of which featured his boyfriend, musician Brad Walsh. Brad stayed during the whole shoot; you could see he is really Christian's rock. Between camera set-ups, Christian was on the phone dealing with negotiations for his Bravo special and Brad was a calming presence for him amidst the Bravo call and the Closet shoot. Speaking of his closet, it was impressive how much he had in it considering how tiny it is. And everything was fastidiously appointed from the shoes, in their boxes up top, to the drawers of bow ties, rows of hanging shirts. It was another side of the "fierce" Christian we see; we felt special being invited in.

I love Christian. And I remember his pony hair shoes from his days at Annapolis Bubbles. He always wore those damn shoes. ha!

I can not wait to collect my first Christian Siriano piece. My closet is currently a work in progress. I recently replaced some old outdated items that I really didn't like because I felt they really didn't reflect my true style. The internet has been my friend in this transition.
