If you’ve seen Johnny Weir do his thing on the ice, or watched his Sundance Channel show "Be Good, Johnny Weir", you probably already know Johnny’s as meticulous as he is fabulous. His home, and especially his closet, reflect his personality to the fullest. First off, shoes are not allowed in Johnny’s Jersey ‘burbs digs, and for good reason- the house is pretty much floor-to-ceiling white. What’s not white is painstakingly arranged in ROYGBIV color order, including Johnny’s "tree" of colorful Balanciaga bags. And then here was the fur. This man is not afraid of his animal skin. Johnny showed us a lynx-trimmed snakeskin trapper hat, modeled one of his many animal hair jackets, and posed quite prettily on a bed dressed with heavy hairy pelts. I believe his pillows were fur too! Between shots, Johnny and his coach discussed skating/fashion/Lady Gaga (?) in Russian-a language Johnny taught himself as a kid to better communicate with his coach. When the last shot was done, so was Johnny. The performance was over, and we had to be out; the only thing left to do was applaud.
